The following is a list of the top wine journalists around the world.


Matt Skinner: Australian wine journalist who lives in Melbourne, Australia. Matt makes regular contributions to Sunday Life, GQ, BBC Australian Good Food, Gourmet Traveller WINE, and Home Beautiful.


Oz Clarke: Britain’s most well known wine writer, teamed up with motoring journalist James May for Oz and Clarke, a BBC Television programme.

Tim Atkin: freelance journalist for various UK newspapers and TV stations.

Jancis Robinson: wine columnist at the Financial Times.


Eric Asimov: chief wine critic of the New York Times.

Jon Bonné is the wine editor of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Corie Brown: the co-founder and general manager of Zester Daily. Corie is aformer editor and writer with the Los Angeles Times. Zester Daily is a food and wine online magazine.

Elin McCoy: wine and spirits columnist for Bloomberg News.

Gary Vaynerchuk:  called “the social media sommelier”, Gary is a Belarus-born, US-based and emerging global media personality, founder of WineLibraryTV and author of Crush It!, a guide to wine and social media.
